OXYCONTIN/HEROIN,SENATOR STEVE TOLMAN HOSTS……..

On Friday, May 15, 2009, the OxyContin and Heroin Commission will hold the third in a series of hearings the state’s growing rate of OxyContin and heroin addiction. This hearing will focus on jail diversion, the courts and probation systems and interdiction. The public hearing will be held at UMass Dartmouth, Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center.
We are inviting everyone from the public to come and listen to the testimony that will be given. We have invited both experts in these fields as well as parents, families and those who are directly affected by OxyContin and heroin and substance abuse as a whole.
