Job Title:       Falmouth Community Resource Center Assistant
Job Category:  Administrative
Position Type:  Part Time (up to 20 hrs/wk)
Position Availability:  Immediate
Hours:  Normal business hours with occasional evenings or weekends for special events

Position Description:  Learn to Cope (LTC) is a peer-led support network that offers education, resources, and hope for family members and friends who have loved ones affected by substance use disorder.  With a friendly, team-centered, and informal work environment, Learn to Cope is a great place to work.  We are actively seeking a dynamic, energetic, and understanding individual who can assist with day-to-day administration of a newly opened Family Resource Center in Falmouth, MA.

Primary Responsibilities of a Center Assistant include:

  • ·       Providing exceptional telephone -based service by responding to requests for information from families and providers.
  •         Maintain confidentiality of individual’s information and interactions with LTC
  • ·       Contacting and building relationships with clients, new members, and local service providers
  • ·       Representing LTC in a positive and professional manner at networking events and chapter meetings
  • ·       Prioritizing and managing tasks and responsibilities
  •         Preferred Candidate Qualifications include:
  • ·       Strong interpersonal skills with a knowledge of Substance Use Disorder required; lived experience preferred
  • ·       Organized with attention to detail
  • ·       Team player but also possessing an ability to work independently
  • ·       Problem solving capabilities with an ability to identify opportunities for growth
  • ·       Minimum 1-2 years experience working with the public or customer service

Minimum Basic Qualifications Required:

  • ·       Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Adobe Acrobat.     General                          knowledge  of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
  • ·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to enter data accurately
  • ·       Must be self-motivated and self-directed, positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • ·       Able to work occasional nights and weekends
  • ·       College degree preferred
