Job Title: Falmouth Community Resource Center Assistant

Position Type: Part Time (up to 20 hrs/wk)
Position Availability: Immediate
Hours: Normal business hours with occasional evenings or weekends for special events
Position Description: Learn to Cope (LTC) is a peer-led support network that offers education, resources, and hope for family members and friends who have loved ones affected by substance use disorder. With a friendly, team-centered, and informal work environment, Learn to Cope is a great place to work. We are actively seeking a dynamic, energetic, and understanding individual who can assist with day-to-day administration of a newly opened Family Resource Center in Falmouth, MA.
Primary Responsibilities of a Center Assistant include:
- · Providing exceptional telephone -based service by responding to requests for information from families and providers.
- Maintain confidentiality of individual’s information and interactions with LTC
- · Contacting and building relationships with clients, new members, and local service providers
- · Representing LTC in a positive and professional manner at networking events and chapter meetings
- · Prioritizing and managing tasks and responsibilities
- Preferred Candidate Qualifications include:
- · Strong interpersonal skills with a knowledge of Substance Use Disorder required; lived experience preferred
- · Organized with attention to detail
- · Team player but also possessing an ability to work independently
- · Problem solving capabilities with an ability to identify opportunities for growth
- · Minimum 1-2 years experience working with the public or customer service
Minimum Basic Qualifications Required:
- · Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Adobe Acrobat. General knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
- · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to enter data accurately
- · Must be self-motivated and self-directed, positive ‘can do’ attitude
- · Able to work occasional nights and weekends
- · College degree preferred
